Russell Moore - Biography
Russell Moore MCIM is one of Northern Ireland's most experienced digital marketing professionals and a leading proponent for the adoption of relationship marketing by business organisations.
The founder and managing director of Arcom Multimedia in 1994, Russell was the main original supplier of digital media solutions to many of Belfast's leading advertising and PR agencies and was behind much of the pioneering use of digital marketing techniques during the 90's, including 3D animation, interactive kiosks, CD Roms, Video CD's (a forerunner of the DVD), digital signage and, of course, the internet.
After the sale of Arcom, Russell continued to work with a number of agency clients and, through them, with some well-known brands - including Coca Cola, Guinness and Diageo - as well as a variety of Northern Ireland's main public sector organisations. One particular project (with Dream Ireland) included market research into the state of the digital content industries on the island of Ireland for The University of Ulster and the Dundalk Institute of Technology. The 'Midas Initiative' continues to influence government intervention with the digital content industry on both sides of the Irish border.
In 2006 Russell joined Belfast advertising agency Fire IMC as Digital Marketing Director and has enjoyed working with yet more well-known brands including Tesco, Vodafone, Coors Lite, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Invest Northern Ireland. Additionally he has been one of the founding committee members of Digital Circle (the digital content industry's trade association), a member of the Skillset Industry Skills Panel for NI and a judge for the 'Dare to be Digital' competition.
A CIM-qualified marketing consultant, Russell is particularly interested in the role of digital content and media technologies in Relationship Marketing, and the rise of Social CRM. As the managing director of the new digital relatiionship marketing consultancy SeeRM, Russell further explores and communicates his passion for digital relationship marketing in business management to audiences in Belfast, throughout Northern Ireland and beyond.
